Didn't start the day off so great
Well this morning my son wanted to go get his bike tire tube filled and put in, etc.
I wanted to call a bike shop and find out if they could do it for us but he was all like...I don't want to wait, etc.
So I drove him down to the gas station and we put air in it but then when we went to put it back in the tire well....
I didn't think it looked right and thought I put too much air in it.
So we were arguing about it all. Long story short- wound up still having to call and then go to a bike shop. Cost him $12 something to get a new tube put in.
Also I noticed after we got done put air in the tube that my back tire needed air but we no longer had enough change so after we came back home my son found some change and I still had 50 cents - we stopped at the gas station again before we went down to the bike shop.
In a while I am going over to Goodwill to do my volunteer thing. I wasn't even sure if they were going to be open today since it's Columbus day.
Oh- found that out when I took my son to the P.O. before we even went to fill tire bike tire tube. He comes back to the car and says- "We're forgetting something" - "It's Columbus Day".
I didn't even know to start with so how can I forget.
It's one of those holidays that is ignored now. Some places like the post office observe it and other places don't. It doesn't get the attention it used to though. I think it's because of all the P.C. B.S.
Well I need to get off of here and eat some lunch and get ready to go.
I'm very happy that Jimmie Johnson won the race yesterday!!! Woooh Hoooo! :)
