WOW!- What a day!
Well it's been an interesting day weatherwise.
Started with t-storms early this morning which lasted for a good part of the morning and some of the afternoon.
The lightning even hit some buildings and I know it completely destroyed at least one.
No place that was close to us but in nearby towns.
I was mostly nervous when the wind picked up this afternoon not long after my son and I got back from the new Kroger store (he more or less insisted that we go- I really had no interest in the place).
Anyway I was worried that the wind would bring down the big long branch that is hanging over the awning in back. It also hangs over the telephone wire.
Thank God the wind finally let up or stopped and it didn't bring it down.
So yeah- we went out to this new "Fresh Fare" Kroger today. I went in and looked around (sort of) but quickly decided I could care less and went back to the car and waited while he did his shopping.
I went to Aldi awhile ago and bought a few things and also stopped at Auto Zone and bought some oil for the car as the oil light came on when we were on our way home from Kroger.
I hope the car isn't ruined. I knew I needed to put oil in for quite some time but have been putting it off.
What it really needs is an oil change and it really needs to be looked at and have any "issues" addressed but I just can't afford it. On the other hand can't afford to be without the car either. :(
Well I gotta run. Need to feed my son's guinea pig and also want to see the news.
