Another week
Well the "sonion" hooked up everything last night but....
it didn't work. He called tech and after they ran a test or two.. told him the problem was something to do with the wiring outside.
Said they wouldn't be able to do anything until next Tuesday. So we have to wait another week for our high speed Internet. :(
So it is. Nothing we can do about it.
I got a call from one of the people connected with the Celtic Festival last night. I have volunteered there a few times in the past. She of course wanted to know if I was interested in helping out this year. I told her I would have to think about it.
I have two problems with it though. One-it's usually too hot. Two- parking. It usually costs a lot to park whenever they have a big event like that. I mean- the parking downtown is ridiculously high to start with (although their are a few places for $2.00 per day)but when there is a concert or event or whatever- most all parking shoots up to $5-$6. I am guessing that's what they charge now. Seems to go up every year. I could take the bus but that's no bargain either. They are already talking about raising their rates as well. :(
I am planning to go to the festival (I think) but well - I don't know. I was thinking of going with a friend.
So I found out they haven't laid Michael to rest yet. Now they apparently want to decide whether to bury him or have him cremated. If they don't decide something soon.....
