So........
The "Neighborhood" meeting didn't go quite as well as we expected. Only about 10 or so people showed up for it. Most everyone there was people from our church. I think we had one lady there who didn't go to our church.
We had a Dayton policeman who talked to us about personal safety. The "basic" stuff. Well he did mention a few things that we might not have considered.
Oh man! Wreck! Jimmies car was involved. Bummer! Like he had any chance of winning anyway but still....
Anyway- as I was saying- the other thing about the meeting was that one of the people who was suppose to speak to us didn't make it. She wasn't feeling well. She was going to talk about the garden.
Oh well.
I made some blueberry muffins today. Managed not to eat them all. :)
I just mentioned to my son awhile ago that I need $99 to keep the heat from being disconnected and he didn't give me a hard time or anything. He basically said OK. So it's a relief to have that worry done with for now anyway.
I need to get off of here in a bit and take a shower.
Get ready for bed and then go to Sunday School and church tomorrow.
