Turning it off

OK- I've decided that I'm not going to watch the news anymore. Or at least not for a very long time. If I want to know the weather I can either watch The Weather Channel, get the weather online or listen to my weather radio or the regular weather.
I've had it with the constant bombardment of reports about the "swine flu" and/or the rotten economy or any other of the various gloom and doom stories.
