Speaking of birthdays. . . . .
I can't believe or that is- it's kind of hard for me to believe that my birthday is coming up so soon. Time is a funny thing (not funny ha-ha) that way. Seems you think that a date is a ways off and then *boom*! Before ya know it! That date is here or nearly here. Someone was talking about how they never use the phrase "I can't wait!" anymore. They said that nowadays- they CAN wait. I realize what they mean!
Oh *bleep*! I just realized something else! I forgot to take my acid reflux medicine! I guess I could take it now.
I'm pretty good about taking it in the morning because I have to also take my bp medicine.
I'm going to have to find some way to remember to take it when it's time at night. Perhaps I'll have to set my clock radio or something.
The vet where I took my son's guinea pig sent me a "Welcome" postcard. I tore it up and threw it in the trash. When I called them the other day to cancel the follow-up appointment I had to keep myself from more or less cussing them out. I'm still rather pissed about having to shell out $142 for exam, medicine, medicated food?, and foot cream only to have the poor thing die anyway. OK- it was my son that shelled out $142 but it was money we really need for bills and such. I'm still not working and things are getting really tight. If I don't get a job or some such form of money- we may be out on the street. As it is- I still haven't paid my gas or electric bill for this month.
I still have car insurance coming up on the 29th. Oh- and a credit card bill payment I have to make. And so it goes.
