My day- so far
So I got up and of course couldn't wait to get online. Seems to be an "addiction" or "obsession" of mine lately.
After awhile I got dressed and headed over to one of the hospitals here to find out about volunteering.
Looks like I am going to be putting together charts or something like that. A lot of collating kind of stuff. I still have to got to the orientation (Nov. 17th)first plus have a tetanus shot and flu shot and a few other things. Oh- fingerprints and background check.
I was dismayed that I didn't have all of my contacts addresses. I did have enough though to complete the application. But I thought I had more than just the phone numbers of some. I am working to rectify that situation though.
I'm not a happy camper about having this dang cold.
I suppose I could try one of those so-called "quick cures" that you are supposed to be able to buy at the store nowadays. Seems I bought some zink lozenges a few years ago and it didn't seem to do any good. :(
Oh- I went by and saw my daughter at work on the way home. I think she said she and "B" would be moving in 2 weeks but maybe she said next week. She said she'd call after they got settled in.
