Today & Tomorrow
So today I went to Sunday school & church service and then came home. Killed some time at home and then went & picked up my friend. We went to the Shape-Note singing.
After that I brought her home and then I stopped by the insurance place and wrote out a check, put it in an envelope and put it in the drop slot. I then came home.
The church had "Trunk or Treat" tonight but I couldn't help as I was at the singing.
I brought in some candy this morning for it.
It's been windy today and tonight too. I haven't seen any additional branches laying on the ground here, yet.
Tomorrow is my son's birthday. I plan to give him a card with 26 dollars in it and a bag of Skittles. Later I will make him a cherry cheese cake. I'll have to make up some milk first from powdered milk. I'll need it to make the filling for the cake. I had some made up that I added to the milk we had left but I didn't tell him what I did and he tossed it yesterday while I was gone! He said he didn't know what I had done and he thought the milk tasted "off" so he pour it down the sink.
Ah well. Stuff happens.
I sure hope the temp service comes up with something for me soon. I hate being "out of work".
Well I know I'm not the only one. Especially nowadays! :(
I have a couple of things I'm going to check out tomorrow also. Maybe I'll start my own business??
