Also, don't forget that he has said himself he doesn't know anything about economics.

(That's not an important issue right now, or anything.)

Just put "McCain," "economics," and "strong suit" in any search engine and you'll get a few thousand results.

"The American Prospect was founded in 1990 as an authoritative magazine of liberal ideas, committed to a just society, an enriched democracy, and effective liberal politics. Robert Kuttner, Robert Reich, and Paul Starr launched the magazine initially as a quarterly."

Well there ya go.

I mean- "The American Prospect was founded in 1990 as an authoritative magazine of liberal ideas, committed to a just society, an enriched democracy, and effective liberal politics. Robert Kuttner, Robert Reich, and Paul Starr launched the magazine initially as a quarterly."

I don't see how the source I (honestly!) randomly selected changes words that John McCain was recorded speaking, and which have been played and replayed numerous times in the media.

I didn't look that deeply into the source except to see that it contained the very words John McCain used ("economics is not my strong suit"). And as far as that goes, you CONSTANTLY link to sources with a conservative bias.

Are these any better?

They also contain what John McCain said, however I think those are newspapers from blue states, so maybe those have too much of a liberal bias, as well, I don't know.

OK- apparently he did say it. I apologize for my "knee jerk" reaction. Doesn't seem to matter anyway. I honestly think Obama is going to win this election anyway. I hope he doesn't but I'm afraid he will.
If McCain wins I would hope he will appoint members to his cabinet and office that DO have economics as their "strong suit."
Just as I would hope that Obama would have the good sense to appoint members to his cabinet and office that have good knowledge of the military and such as their "strong suit."
