Treat
Well I decided awhile ago that I wanted an ice cream cone. Told the son I'd treat him to one too if he'd go with me. Didn't have to ask him twice. Ha ha.
We had our choice of two UDF's but decided to go to the one on Spinning & Linden. At first we thought they might be closed because their outside lights weren't on. But they were open and we mentioned that we thought they were closed at first. She said the lights were timed to come on at 8:15 but she'd go turn them on. She did that while we decided what flavor we each wanted. We each got a one dip cone. I got a cake cone with chocolate chip mint & my son got a sugar cone with strawberry. Cost me $4.08 altogether. Definitely a treat. I should have gone to Kroger or Aldi and bought a half-gallon and some cones. Probably would have cost less. Oh well. Like I said- a treat- a rare treat.
