Got my car back!
So- I had my car towed down to the service center last night.
I called today and apparently the belt was dry and cracked so they replaced it. I also had them do an oil change. Cost me $141.00.
I really can't afford it as I won't be working this Monday. Also it's looking more and more like I will be out of a job after Sept. 12th.
Anyway - I got a ride with my supervisor to the service center. I work an extra hour because he couldn't take me right away. He had some stuff to finish up plus a meeting. Hey-I can use the money.
I got a ride to work with my neighbor this morning. She was kind of nervous because she thought she'd get lost on the way back home. It all worked out.
I wasn't looking forward to riding two buses and getting home two hours later anyway. And then having to go pick up the car. So it all worked out great! Praise the Lord!
