It's always something....
As Roseanne Roseannadanna used to say, "It's always something!"
The "something" in this case is my car. I think the fan belt is about to go kaput or actually I think it already has. It's been squealing constantly when I drive my car and today on the way home I noticed that the car was overheating. It's a wonder I even made it home.
So anyway- I had it towed to the service center awhile ago. I just hope it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg.
My friend from next door is going to give me a ride to work tomorrow but I'll have to take a bus or actually two buses home. Oh-goody. Things may get interesting.
I got a call doing a political survey awhile ago. I should have refused. Toward the end she ask for my race (again- I should have refused) but I said "European American" Well guess what she doesn't have as an option. So I had to say "white". Thing is- I'm probably more "European American" than Obama is "African American". I'm not even sure he really is "African American". Not to mention he has so-called "white" blood in him as well. That why I think the use of that term is pointless.
Sad to say- I think he will be elected as president. I just pray he doesn't bring this country to too much ruin.
