Clothes pins - yep- we have 'em!

He brings up that he wants to go to DQ and get Blizzards because they were having a thing where if you bought a Blizzard the profits helped for something (but I forget what the cause was). So after running through several scenarios-I decided that after I sat awhile and "chilled" from coming home from work- that we would go to DQ first then Aldi and then Kroger. However......

I got the bright idea that I wanted to go to K-Mart and see if they had any wooden clothes pins. Big mistake. After wandering around for about 10-15 minutes looking where I thought they should be- and not seeing any. I ask someone and they came with me and checked and well anyway- they didn't. I leave there upset because they don't. I have real concern as to how much longer that store is going to be around. Anyway... so..

We head up to DQ (Dairy Qeen) and go in and get our Blizzards. I order a small one with pineapple, coconut and cherry. I don't remember what my son got only I know it was medium. We start to eat them there but he finishes his and I'm still working on mine. I decide I've had enough and I'll finish mine later. I decide I'll put it in one of the insulated grocery bags I have which is in the car. I'll eat it later.
We then go to Aldi and I buy my groceries and he sits in the car.
Then we go to Kroger and while he's shopping I go to Family Dollar and check for clothes pins. Yes they have wooden clothes pins but they are the cheap ones that don't last.
So I go over to Kroger and check. I find some blue plastic ones. 50 count. I buy them.
He finishes shopping, and we come out of the store and it's raining. I go get the car and pick him up in front of the store. He loads his groceries and we come home. It's still raining sort of. We see a nice big rainbow.
So anyway- we get the groceries unloaded and put away. I put my "soup" Blizzard in the freezer for awhile and eat it later but it's still soup. Oh well.
After awhile as I'm resting and watching the news. The phone rings. It's a lady from the CR group who needs a ride to K-Mart and then Wal-Mart. She doesn't drive. She doesn't have a license. So I tell her that after I watch the news I'll come by and pick her up and take her. She bought and remote control but it didn't work and she wanted to return it and get her money back and then go and get one at Wal-Mart.
So I watch the news and go and get her and take her to K-Mart and then we go to Wal-Mart.
While I was there I checked to see if they had wooden clothes pins. They did. A bag of 100. So I bought them. I also bought two (6 can) cases of the "Wal-Mart" brand version of Slim-Fast. And a couple of skirt/pants hangers.
So now I have plenty of clothes pins - they better last awhile!
