I'm going to miss the race
Well most of it anyway. I'm going to a birthday party for a woman in the CR group I attend. She's going to be 50 today. It's a surprize birthday party.
I still have yet to have a surprise birthday party or a surprise party of any kind thrown for me. I guess I'm a bit jealous. I know I shouldn't be. Just that since my hubby died almost 10 years ago- no one seems to even remember me when my birthday comes around. For one thing- it's near Thanksgiving and sometime it even falls on Thanksgiving.
I noticed that a lot of people I know have birthdays around this time. There are also a lot of people who have birthdays about the same time as mine and two in my family have birthdays the same day as me! My m-i-l and a b-i-l. Also I have a niece who has a birthday a few days after mine.
I think the weather is supposed to be nicer today. Not so hot and humid. But then starting tomorrow and the next few days it's suppose to going back to very hot and humid. Ugh! :(
Yesterday I bought a poster at Deals for only $1. It's a poster of Jimmie Johnson. I couldn't resist.
Well I need to get off of here and get ready for church.
Oh- I'm trying to get rid of some small warts I have on my legs. I'm trying the ACV method. I soaked a cotton ball in ACV and taped it on one of the spots with duct tape. Changed it this morning. I hope it works. Guess I'll find out. No shorts or short dresses for me! :)
