Here I come again! :) Hurricane Bertha 2008
Well I'm now a hurricane! Not the first time they've named a TS or Hurricane after me!

So I went to a cookout with my friend/neighbor on the 4th. Then we went to see the fireworks. First I went downtown and sang with the Shape-Note singers at the City Folk Festival. We didn't sing as long as I thought we would. I thought it was supposed to be for 1 1/2 hours but wound up only being 1 hour.
Some friends of mine from church were there and gave me a ride back home (actually back to my car which I had driven to the church and parked. I then took a bus downtown).
Saturday when I went to the "casual" service - there was a new woman at the service. I didn't recognize her at all. When I was getting ready to leave and I went out the doors of the chapel I heard someone say hi to me. Turns out I know her! I didn't recognize her because she has a new hairstyle and has put on some weight (not a lot) and she wasn't wearing her glasses. Anyway- I use to work with her! She lives not too far from me. Her name is Pam.
I was just thinking how weird it is that I know so many Pams. Three of them have last names that start with Ha (this Pam is one of them). The other Pam I know - her name starts Wa.
Well I need to take care of some bills and then hopefully get some other things done.
Hopefully this is my last week "off". I hope I will be going back to work on the 14th. And even better- I hope I get some kind of short-term assignment before then.
