Well that went better than I thought it would
So today I went over to the library to help my friend "S" with learning MS Excel. Afterwards she treated me to lunch at Linh's Restaurant not far from there. First we went over to the bookstore to see if she could get a copy of the book we were using. They didn't have it.
I was somewhat dreading meeting up with her as she tends to start talking negative and well it's a downer but- she didn't do so much of it this time.
Lunch was very good. I got Shrimp with Pea Pods and Wonton soup. I think she got Shrimp with Vegetables.
She said she'd treat me again and we'd get the soup they have there. I forget what it's called but they have this soup that comes in a great big bowl and is served with some other stuff. Looks good.
I've posted on freecycle for that book she wants/needs. Hopefully someone will have it. I'm still using mine so.......
It looked like it was going to start to storm when we got done with lunch but it's cleared up instead. Weird. I think it probably did rain downtown but not here.
At least it's cooler today and not so humid. Thank the Lord!
