Thank You Global Warming!

Well looks like the son and I are basically stuck here in the house for the day. Dayton is under a Level 2 Snow Emergency and the snow is still coming down. I think we are also under a blizzard warning.
They let us go home about 12:45 yesterday from work. I had to stop by Wal-Mart on my way home and make a payment on my credit card bill. I also looked for salt - which of course they were out of. I settled for 2 small bags of kitty litter. I also bought a large bag of generic Halls (Honey-Lemon)cough drops. Got home (after crawling down the road)and did a bit of shoveling and put down some of the kitty litter. May as well have safe my time and effort on that.
I don't know if we will get any mail today or not. I can't see going out there now to do anything either. I don't believe it's supposed to end until about 4 p.m. tonight.
Oh- my son came home not too much longer after I got home. They closed the libraries early as well. They are closed today as well.
The Saturday evening contemporary service at church has been canceled as well.
Well one good thing. They told us at work that we could put down our regular time or I should say- that we worked our full 8 hours on our time cards yesterday.
Well I'm going to finish reading my e-mail and then I think I'm going to watch some movies I got from the library. Bye

Stay safe and stay warm!

BTW- My thoughts & prayers go out to all those poor soul north and west of Dayton who have it even worse than we do. Dark County just had bad ice storms a few days ago which did a lot of damage and caused a lot of problems such as power outages and such.
