Well doesn't matter I guess.
Just wondering - I'm somewhat excited about the real possibility of having either a black president or a woman president - HOWEVER........
I wish they weren't liberal Democrats. I can't help but wonder if they totally screw things up if people will blame it on their race or gender. This would be the wrong thing to do. Their race or gender has nothing to do (OK- maybe a very small percent) with how they run the country. But their liberal policies will have a big impact on the way they run things and what happens with this country. I guess I can only pray that they don't make a big mess of things. I know neither Barrack or Hillary are president yet but like I said - it's a very real possibility.
Well speaking of screwing something up- I sure made a mess of things in my back yard.
I went to Lowe's Saturday and bought some gravel. Dug up some of the soil in the back yard where the water seems to collect- put in the gravel, then put some of the dirt with some more gravel on top. Well it rained yesterday- a lot! What I did only made things worse. So there I was last night- digging out trenches to divert the water from around the gate. Only help a small bit. Then I wound up raking some leaves over to the water to soak it up.
I think I will buy some more gravel and just pile it up high but I may also buy some play sand. I really don't know just what to do. I need to find a way to keep the water from building up in that area. My son and I have to go in and out of the gate and that's right where the water seems to build up when it rains. Ay-yi-yi!
It snowed a small bit last night and the roads were a bit slick this morning but I didn't have any problems with it when I went to work this morning. Now the sun is shining brightly.
They sure got hit hard north of here when a lot of freezing rain and ice. Many lost power last night because of it. :( Not good.
