The weather to-day, the first Saturday in April, the first day in April, was overcast but not much if any rain and relatively calm.
I took a well-needed shower to-day!
Picked a few weeds, put some tree pieces I knew I couldn't run through my chipper into the compost bin, put out our two full containers of compost into the large bin and picked up some trash at house60 and house70.
Flickweed is starting to appear. Our two daffodils are doing well. Rose campion is growing on the Chimney Memorial Walkway, so I will see if I can transplant them.
Closed up the upstairs toilet and put the trivia books back on top. I had let the toilet sit overnight and it was dry enough to apply the plumbers putty around the hole that is plugged up by the flapper. It was leaking there so badly that it triggered the toilet bowl filler every 30 seconds! I think it is working! If it goes bad I can go to my new flapper base which I had also purchased as a back-up.
Washed some recyclables and put out the recyclables to the blue bin.
Wrote the check for Pileus.
Continued finding new emails sent to me and subscribed under my new email and unsubscribed the old one. Eventually I hope to have no email coming in to byron@zolacmedia.com. On May 30 I will send a registered letter to Pileus to end my email service. My zolacmanor@centurylink.net is doing well for me so far.
I will continue the web service, but will continue to look around for a new host and once I do will end Pileus.
Pileus apparently is oriented to large scale businesses and not individuals or very small businesses. I hope those target companies have a better support experience with Pileus. The experience for me at first was fine, but something changed and now they are treating me badly. I have been paying them for a while with no issue until February.
To-morrow I will focus on the back room and the kitchen and cat litter.
