Snow still here
The snow that fell Wednesday into yesterday morning is still mostly here.
I didn't have to shovel our sidewalk: someone else did that. I would have tried to clear the entire sidewalk, but what was done was good: it is now clear and is only wet from surrounding melted snow.
We are just at home enjoying the snow from inside. Glad not trying to drive: so many abandoned cars, crashes, spin-outs, closed roads.
The house is very cold against the floor and that one open window in the back room doesn't help. I lowered the storm window in the dining room which I had opened when we had that smell scare several weeks ago.
My office is barely tolerable: the duct still needs to re-connected.
Our canned cat food will hold out until to-morrow, so that is when I will go to Freddies to get a few more cans, milk and some other things. I will walk.
We may actually get back to normal by Sunday, but I am not betting on it: taking a wait and see approach.
No permit filed yet.
The weekend plan--put out the trash, clean the kitchen, clean cat litter boxes, get groceries, fix the duct, assemble and stock the 4-shelf bookcase in the bathroom, put stuff into the cellar.
Star Trek: Picard, season 3, episode 2: Worf appears. Decapitates Ferengi. Jack Crusher confirmed as Picard's son. The Titan tries to escape the Shrike. Just like episode 1, ended wanting more...felt like the episode just started when it ended!
Work to-day: check tests, add file reader/writer, test file loader.
