Tonight Marisa and I will watch the first episode of the third season of Star Trek: Picard! It has been highly anticipated by not only us but, well, everyone.
At work I have finished tests for a new fix, but to-day have two tasks which must be completed or substantially done on this day. As a result I am working from home to put all my working hours toward this (no commute time).
Took a shower yesterday. Really needed it. I feel much better.
My right arm seems to be getting better, but I still have pain in the elbow and when moving it or grasping something.
Weather is improving. Not much I can do with it, but its fine. Someone left some sort of waterlogged garment on the the street. I picked it up and walked it to our alley trashcan. People left a plastic bowl, plastic fork and an alumnium can on the ground right next to the can. Too much work to actually put these items in the can? I brought the can in for recycling (it is not redeemable: fruit juice) and the rest went into the can.
I am concerned about switching horses in mid-stream with the city approval of the backroom project. Neil Kelly wants to move it to the FIR program. Waiting on details about it. It is probably the right thing to do. In the meantime I will continue doing what I have been doing.
This 3-day weekend I will finish with the bookcases and unpacking books, then will start on moving stuff to clear out the back room and to ready a place for the rain barrel. I had a dream this morning about the rain barrel move: someone had prepared the temporary location for me! In reality it is something I must do myself.
The kitchen is a mess, but I should be able to get a handle on it this weekend.
Marisa gave me a neat Valentine's Day card--it featured Theda Bara!
