To-day was a much better day than yesterday.
A bug was reported, but I could not reproduce, even on the original machine and set up shell...but only after starting the tool.
In so investigating I pulled together several test cases to our new "home".
Alas, regressions still no operable for me.
I lost some edits on one file, but rewrote the code from memory!
During breakfast completed a new episode of Home Town with Marisa.
During lunch advanced the Newton, MA project for This Old House. I am envious of these home owners and the money they must have to get this kind of work done...terracing a steep hill back yard, fixing leaded stained glass windows, putting in a new foundation for one section, knocking down walls or opening them up. However, I use these large examples to find small versions of what we need to do on our 1584 square foot house (the home they are working on is probably more like 4000 square feet).
Received a third proposal for engineering on house70, midway between two others. I like the first, but must be busy and not communicating. This most recent one sounds like the right approach, so I will analyze on Thursday and contact.
The electrical work pre-requisite for the attic stairs will happen Jan. 2 at 8 a.m., so I notified Alexander when he can consider starting. As he has to get the stairs and 2x4s and related hardware, he probably won't start right in the next day! However, maybe before February we will have attic insulation! Still waiting on the vermiculite test kit. I will clean out the bays on New Years weekend.
No word yet about whether the plans were updated and then sent to the city for The Backroom Project. I won't bother them, though. I hope they tell me!
Also watching PortlandMaps to see if the permits are filed. However, if I see it there before I get word from Neil Kelly, something is terribly wrong. I have heard it takes weeks after the city does intake for permit paperwork to show up there.
I will get dressed, run down to get more money, feed the cats and then go grocery shopping.
No hurt tooth to-day (well, I sort of feel it, but not nearly as bad). I have been clamping down on my teeth and my right top molar roots are not happy about that.
