Busy
The past long weekend was somewhat successful.
* More things in the backroom are stowed in the cellar.
* Some things in the cellar are no longer in the cellar.
* Christmas boxes are in the front room/ on the porch.
* The Christmas tree is assembled, skirted and decorated with lights.
Next weekend hope to clear out remaining boxes in the backroom to the basement as well as the bookshelf and the sideboard. Also, want to move all the stuff under the stairs in the basement to the cellar. Right now I don't know where that stuff will go, but part of the process is to find things to recycle or throw out...or reorganize.
Meanwhile I have been looking at insulating our attic. This is a task I can do.
However, need to create a more useful entrance, so I asked for estimates. One guy will be here at 10 a.m., another guy sometime after 5 (he is driving from Helvetia).
So I need to get dressed early, eat early, clean cat poo in the dining room, set up a ladder and a light.
Meanwhile I have a 9 a.m. meeting.
Also I expect Don from E & M Appliances to meet me at the House70 so he can fix their oven (the bake element) and I can pay him.
So:
7-7:25 a.m. Live Journal
7:25-7:45 get dressed
7:45-8:15 make breakfast and eat it.
8:15-8:30 clean cat poo and set up computer.
8:30-9 bring in ladder and get lantern
9-10 meeting
10-11 estimate meeting
11-1 Don from E & M
1-1:30 lunch
1:30-5:30 work
