DONE open the hatch to the basement and bring down the air filter. M (half a round trip)
DONE change the air filter and bring up the garbage can with the dirty filter (making 1 round trip) M
WIP clean cat poo. 1st floor done. Carpet and 2nd floor next (Tu)
* bring down boxes to stow and bring up Christmas stuff to put on the dining room table (several RTs) Tu
* bring down table parts to stow. Tu
* clean up area in Living room to make room for the tree. W
* make muffins. W
Also to-day:
* Take shower. The skin issue at the top of my forehead is really bad. A good shower should help.
* 9 a.m. call E & M Appliance for service on Frigidaire FEF336ECB at House70.
Regarding the oven:
* I had replaced the baker heating element in July 2020 but have no information on this journal about this! The part was ordered June 25, it didn't arrive soon enough so another was sent. The second one arrived at some point in July I would guess (again, no record), then the first one ordered arrived on July 23, 2020 after I had installed the first one (apparently successfully). So my install lasted more than two years. It should have lasted longer (like 2 decades!), so calling a professional.
Yesterday I did two things at work:
* tested user case with latest tool version and my code for parsing an error file. Works fine. The problem was the tool version.
* expanded a regression test to get more details of a parsed error file for comparison. Fails for configuration but passes with the update.
There is an important organizational update meeting at 9:30 a.m. to-day.
I have been tracking real estate in the area and came across a neat 1908 house which has been relatively untouched, especially the 2nd story. It has suffered some damage and lost stair access. Not sure about the roof. Anyway, it is probably the best example of a house that needs work that does not require undoing unwarranted makeovers. Alas-- cash only, probably can't get a loan for it anyway, and I certainly don't have the ability to take on any debt right now anyway. This bothers me because I feel full of ideas and want to do things, but can't.
