Behind schedule, but catch-up is possible

I did not do as much as I had hoped to-day. I dug out two wheelbarrows of bricks and stones but only stowed one of them to LBT.

This takes me into the turn for the walkway to the back stairs. I expect there are threee wheelbarrows worth of bricks/stones to go.

So my estimate has gone down on the number of wheelbarrows to do, which means I might even complete this task to-morrow if all goes well.

The weather to-day was warm and calm enough to not need a coat which made the work go much faster and feel less pained. Also, it happens that the more I do this the easier it gets.

While I was at it, I took my stack of vines and branches and stuffed them into the compost container. I have room for more so all the weeds I collect from my brick dig-out will have a place to go.

The high schoolers left an empty bottle of wine in the alley way behind our house. To the glass recycling that goes!

The building project next to House67 is coming along. Plumbing and utility lines were connected up through the crawlspace in all the eight townhouses. It will be strange to have a 1908 house, then the 8 townhouses facing each other, then a 1923 house, then a 1966 duplex, then a 1923 house on the avenue. It would be great if each of the townhouses would go to a homeless person, but I would bet they will become condos running in the 400k range, giving the builder/owner of the lot 2.4 million dollars for an investment of half that?

Our side of the alley seems somewhat more congruent: Mostly houses from the 1920s (1927:House32, 1922: House60, 1923: House70, our 1908 house and then attached housing that tries, at least, to fit in (Bad House:2012). Kevin's house, House40 (1927) got an ADU but it is not really noticeable. So glad that House80 was sold to someone who wanted to keep it as-is, although they are doing something weird with the fence facing Central. No permits, though, so does not appear to be anything of concern.
