To-day marks the first of 16 days of preparation activities toward our back room project.
It is raining now and will continue raining through Tuesday morning. Tuesday afternoon the rain goes away but it will still be soggy.
Outdoor activities will happen Wednesday, Thursday and next weekend. Besides branches, masonry moving and asbestos siding removal there will be park strip and back yard mowing and blackberry clipping...all very much needed and will be done once not too soggy. One blackberry continues to make progress climbing the screen at the kitchen window!
So to-day, after a shower, putting on my clothes, and a breakfast: cleaning, organizing, boxing. I will be in the front room, the back room and the basement. I may still go outside for a couple of things between showers.
Also, to-day: buy groceries for the week.
Michael Johnson of Neil Kelly acknowledged my questions. He says he is putting together cost estimates from all the contractors. I guess we will get more information next week.
I will need to get my Canon XLR operational again so I can take pictures of our yellow-white lillies. One has emerged and weighing down its stalk. Others are starting to emerge.
The Peruvian lillies have not emerged yet. Usually they would have been out last week, but everything this year is delayed by about ten days from previous years' expectations.
