Woke up this morning after 6 a.m. to our cat, Eddie, asking to be let out of our bedroom.
I had an actual good dream where I was the program director of a radio station which we fully staffed with everyone we needed to cover news, weather and host music programs well. In the meeting we had a staff meeting where we introduced ourselves. At a pause, I broke in and introduced myself as the program director (the one who hired most of the staff) and gave a pep talk about how we were going to do great radio for our listeners.
I easily put on my robe and also felt less sore in my shoulders. There were no problems with my eyes.
The cats got a can of salmon shreds, which was the only can of that kind I could locate in our last grocery trip. They all ate fully and happily.
Besides the awful news about Covid-19 in our county--that officials think half of the population will get it in the next two months--there was nothing really new going on. Russia continues to amass troops circling Ukraine and President Biden continues to do what he can to pressure Russia to back off. There was an interesting story about the Skyline restaurant at Germantown Road but it was for subscribers only (from the Oregonian).
Did some research on Art Carney recordings. He was a named performer on a few Horace Heidt records from 1939 and 1940. He later recorded some children's records with Mitch Miller. I downloaded a few of those.
Finally, I thought to look up what might be causing a little lump below the skin on the left lower part of my abdomen. It is likely a lipoma:
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/lipoma/symptoms-causes/syc-20374470 I may not do anything about it unless it bothers me. Right now it is just annoying to feel it when I do my unconscious body surveys.
