Fires, Legs, Virus, Skin, Check

On the way to Kaiser, at N. Interstate Ave. and N. Killingsworth St. I saw 3 police cars, a fire engine and yellow tape at the intersection. Police were talking to a woman who then crossed the tape and ducked into the coffee shop and then as quickly left.

A video camera on a tripod was shooting a reporter. Don't know what television station.

Strangely, in the middle of N. Killingsworth, were a pair of brown boots sitting there as if someone had just jumped out of them!

Turns out this was an investigation into arson (see below).

At N. Interstate and N. Lombard I saw a van pull into the gas station there. There was a leg with a show hanging out the back of the van. It looked like a stuffed fabric version of someone's leg upon closer inspection. Strange.

The virus protocols have changed at Kaiser. Doors do not open until 7 a.m., so a 7 a.m. appointment means arriving there at 7 a.m. and not before. Also, they no longer screen for Covid-19...just have signs asking everyone to wear masks.

My blood pressure was 138/68. Respectable. Weight with shoes was 190 pounds, so 185 pounds. Heart was beating 83 bpm.

The doctor did a microscope attachment cell phone camera photo taking of my left arm wrist (the one large brown spot that Dr. Manino has said was ok), but also of a spot in the center of my back which I think may be problematic. Pix go to the skin specialist for review.

Got back home by 8:20 and made breakfast. Then 9 to 6 was busy finishing the 5th of 5 checks. It is pretty complete now after several issues. The remaining issues will take a little extra work to-morrow morning.
