Keaton and Kovacs
Marisa and I flew to Kansas City International Airport, rented a car and then drove it to Iola Kansas for the annual Keaton celebration in Iola Kansas.
It was a wonderful experience, as the two previous Keaton Celebrations were which I attended on my own (1995 and 1996).
Marisa even had a chance meeting with Edie Adams as we went into the Bowlus Fine Arts Center.
I remember taking pictures (although none allowed inside the building), but who knows where they are in 2021 (should be on floppy disks as taken on a Mavica).

Along the way we had Thai food in Kansas City where I bought a cricket sound maker. Our motel was hum drum and the local cuisine aven more so. We did have a nice dinner at the only good place to eat, but we had to have breakfast at McDonald's with its styrofoam/plastic everything.
The drive back was ery strange as we could find no where to eat along the way.
I bought a little Kansas keepsake box at the airport before coming home.
