Back Doing Things
After last weekend's do nothing activity (watching movies mainly), I am mostly ready to start doing things again. Need breakfast and a shower first.
I am still concerned with my pinky as it still smarts when I press on it through the gauze bandage. I will replace the wrapping to-day with Marisa's help. I think I will still need it. I hope there is progress. After Hannibal lacerated it I thought it would need stitches. I hope the body fixes it up without help.
Definitely feeling more optimistic after Friday's assessment of my mental faculties. I definitely need to keep focussed to be successful at everything from everyday life to work. I will work on compartmentalizing my tasks and building in awareness activities (date, time, location, tasks, algorithms, patterns).
I like the quote that the former U.S. President is the "Mouse of Mar-a-Lago". I hope he stays that way. An isolate toothless mouse would be even better, but he still attracts followers. The entire voting "reform" efforts underway in many states is an extension of his lies about voting and elections.
I am simply referring to anyone who threatens or has supported voting reform as a totalitarian. National Review went so far as to say we don't need more voters, we need better voters...which is to say they don't want lesser voters participating. Who is to say who is better or who is lesser. I do believe we all need to improve our knowledge of history and current events to be a more informed public, but in an effort to move toward democracy there should never be any requirement for knowledge. The Oregon state legislature has moved in this session to require civics in state public school curricula.
At 11:15 a.m. overcast skies have changed to blue: I should be able to cut the back lawn to-day and clean the cat poop!
