* researched a few Ebay items to determine if I should bid.
* weed-wacked the front park strip, swept leaves, pulled weeds and decaying plants. Front looks much better.
* continued to fill box 14 and the Tibbitts magic lantern slide box. I need only find the other Apache slide to complete what I have of the Tibbitts lantern slides. Box 14 now has two rows filled (one more to go). I am not sure I have any more to fill it, which is fine.
* threw into recycling two more cardboard boxes after the reorg of packing materials for the slides.
* got my typewriter cover! Fits fine. Was expecting a lighter brown, but I am happy: made and delivered fast!
* home warranty call--Indian accent guy first checks with me if I own the house and then puts me in touch with Vinnie from New Jersey (my name for him) who tells me I would have to fork over $8000 over two decades to get coverage for breakdowns with appliances or the heating/cooling system...and have no choice in service people or in parts/equipment. In the past two decades I have not spent that amount for fixing stuff. Upgrading, yeah, but not plain fixing. I told him I wasn't interested. I fully expected him to say "Gee, it would be a shame if something bad happened to your nice heat exchanger...."
