Marisa and I picked up Petunia after 3 p.m. yesterday. She was anxious about being caged, but as Marisa sat beside the cat carrier on the way home, Petunia rubbed against Marisa's finger and licked it.
Once home, Petunia left the cat carrier in the dining room and walked around the dining table several times anti-clockwise. When I returned to the dining room later she was missing, but I later located her under the large red cabinet in the room.
Marisa and I attribute the circular walk as Petunia being "loopy" from the drugs and, as predicted by the vet, she needed to find a quiet spot to rest and recover.
Meanwhile only Venom, Eddie and Goose were active. Later that evening we spotted Will, but only briefly.
This morning Petunia was walking around, rubbing against my leg. Venom, Eddie and Goose were active and Will showed up for breakfast but was keeping her distance. As I sat down for coffee I saw her approach the dining room from the foyer, but when she saw me she turned around.
The only cat yet to turn up was Hannibal, but as I finished my coffee I saw him pop out from under the Birmingham chair. However, he did not go far: he must have found another hiding place in the living room.
This morning I registered Petunia and her multi-digit code online.
