Despite the fact that I left on time (7:15 a.m.), I got to work late (8:20 a.m.).
Where was I for an hour? I spent about half the time sitting in my truck at the center of the St. John's Bridge. There was some accident on Bridge Road which caused a huge back-up in traffic. I took a few pictures.
Got to work with a meeting underway which, because I didn't hear the beginning, was a waste of time.
I did manage to check a couple of things off my list of four things:
* retracting a change I made in one kit because, while it fixed the original problem, it caused other problems far worse. I had intended to fix the rest, but after spending several hours with the code realized it was a multi-day project for a kit which needed to wrap up very soon (this week).
* getting one kit to build automatically. Not a slam dunk: I think I wrote or fixed four files amidst the debugging to finally solve the problem.
It was really hot when I left work around 7 p.m.
