Flew by United to SF. Marisa and I were separated because we checked-in too late. I almost lost my paper notes which fell onto the floor of the plan and slid back to the seat behind me. The man handed them back to me toward the end of the flight after I worried about losing them.
Got a blue Hyundai Accent. Nice car, a little wimpy going up San Bruno Avenue, but could be due to my accelerator control.
Pictures--St Johns Bridge (3), Mt. Lassen (pretty good), Bay Bridge, a bit of the Golden Gate Bridge.
We had dinner at Toto's in Millbrae, then took pictures of San Mateo Avenue for a few blocks from the former site of the El Camino Theater. Really diverse population and neat buildings from the 1930s.
Strangest shock: complete cyclone fencing of The Gulley, aka Crestmoor Canyon. Unfinished goings-on at the Plateau. Both gas stations gone.
Nice motel. I think it was a good choice. Less than $200 a day but more than $100 a day.
