Permit online delay
No one is prepared to give me a straight answer, but I did some empirical research.
Apparently the permit database to-day in Portland is always at 2-3 years old.
The last sequential IVR permit number is: 3944303 which is for a permit recorded December 30, 2016.
So we can expect to see that online database remain stuck at the end of 2016 for the rest of 2018. Come 2019 a year's worth of data will be added so permits through Dec. 30, 2017 will be available on-line.
However, it may also be possible that this is updated quarterly or every half-year, so come April we will see permits through March 31, 2017, on July permits through June 30, 2017, etc.
This explains why I don't see permit activity on House 60. I won't see it online until 2020 or even 2021.
I have been told by the driveway contractor that two permits have been issued: the plan is good for the curb cuts and the driveway dimensions with respect to lot features.
We should finalize plans for the work next week!
