Received email confirmation that the tank removal company has the signed contract and "in the coming days" will contact me about scheduling the removal process. The whole thing, once it starts, will take 3-5 days to complete.
Meanwhile I see the weather forecast for the foreseeable future to be rain, rain rain...at least a 50 percent chance of it.
So I may be able to work on Marvin's Garden, or maybe not. However, not too worried as I have the basic grading finished.
Let's see if the company schedules work properly and does the work when it says it will do it. For some reason my experience in all companies which come to work on people's homes and grounds: many broken promises...as if your time is unimportant.
Wasted three hours at work to-day listening to upper management saying we have to be determined and win. Hey, I am always determined. I don't need you taking me away from the work to tell me to work harder. It makes no sense.
Well, I guess it does to them. If they don't lead, they can't very well be doing their job.
Still, I could have used 3 hours of seeing strategies and how those efforts drill down to various parts of the part of the company I work in...so I know the importance of what I am doing to the overall goals.
