Quick Notes
* Bandage removed from under my left eye yesterday for good.
* Ends of incision bulge out right now. Not happy with that.
* Stitches will be removed on Monday, which will be my last day working from home for a while.
* I was working from home all last week, except Monday which I took off as a vacation day for the Mohs surgery.
* $149 credit today for my car license and testing in Scappoose. I was first in line at 8:30 a.m.
* Photo safari in Scappoose: Scappoose Middle School, Catholic church, Fairview Cemetary, Jackson Creek, Scappoose Totem Pole, Scappoose Peace Candle, Watts House.
* Goodwill in Scappoose: 4 large hardcover books with dust jackets: 2 on Bungalo style interiors, 1 on unique architectural styles, 1 on Frank Sinatra. Also a black mohair overcoat to replace the black wool coat which is now too tight around the middle. This one is perhaps a size too big for me, but that is okay for a coat. $41 total.
* Antique and Collectibles Show at the Expo Center. $7 to park, $14 to enter, $13 for food and drink because Marisa was low on blood sugar (pale, feverish), $1 for a postal card of a motel from Oak Harbor (where Marisa grew up), $5 for a large paperbound book on the films of W.C. Fields, $4 for an El Patio platter, $6 for a Mimi Joy large pastel, $4 for a 1954 QEII Coronation saucer and pink cup. $54.
* All bills paid except garbage and long distance. I had just found the garbage bill in a stack and the long distance bill requires printing.
* Stock sales check arrived Friday. I deposited it on the same day! Between the medical bills, reupholstery work and a new cabinet for the first floor not sure we will have anything left for house work.
* There is a red car parked in the alleyway right behind our house. It really angers me to see that there. If it is there for too long I am reporting it as an abandoned vehicle. If anyone puts a vehicle there it should be me. I plan to do that as well as reassemble our compost bin there to keep this from happening again.
