Heat, performances, walkway

I am going to some burlesque performances this weekend where they don't have seats. Hope we get there early enough on both evenings so I can sit.

The performances sound great, including the one to-night where Marisa does an act which has already been well received, her Red Hot Mama show.

Will have to work hard, though, to wake up early Saturday morning so I can get some work done before it gets too hot.

So, can't falter in that...have to not sleep a lot, wake at 5 a.m. and get out there.

I will then plan on sleeping mid-day. Siesta.

[] move the pile.
[] get black rocks from under the tree.
[] line the walkway with black rocks and center with bricks.
[] take a picture--to be used a reference if needed later.
[] stack all the bricks and rocks.
[] mark and dig to make sure we have 3 feet all the way.
[] grade to level.
[] remove 3 inches down.
[] on first 3 feet, remove 6 more inches.
[] add geo tex fabric.
[] add base.
[] add geo tex fabric.
[] add thin layer of sand.
[] add black rocks.
[] add more sand.
[] add bricks.
[] fill in other bricks for rest of walk.

This will complete the walkway for August and early September, after which I can afford to buy pipe, more base, bender board if needed.

If I do well I will paint on Sunday morning.
