Seems unlikely I will ever have a perfect week.
I can't even start the week on Monday and get that one day perfect.
Once in a while I may get a day in the middle of the week to be just so.
Almost any other day, though, it seems impossible.
Didn't really find this was much of concern in my younger days. May be that my life was not so segmented as it is to-day. Maybe I just simply feel I am running out of time.
For a day to be perfect:
1. wake up on time 5 a.m. (important to wake at 5 a.m.)
2. lights off until I get to the kitchen.
3. there is a clean kitchen table and relatively clean counter.
4. the coffee is brewed already.
5. there is cat food so I can feed the cats...and they are all present and eat what I give them!
6. I can sit in the recliner (there are not a bunch of things on it) and drink coffee while listening to NPR.
7. I go through email, news sites, other regular sites but keep the computer time to a minimum: 5:30-6
8. Get dressed or take a shower and get dressed...and make the bed. 6-6:30
9. Fix breakfast with berries, non-meat breakfast sausages, shredded wheat and milk...another cup of coffee. 6:30-7
10. Fix lunch, brush teeth, floss, rinse, take pills. 7-7:20
11. Drive to work (enough gas).
12. not overcast, not hot, not cold, not windy.
13. get to work before 8 a.m. and find a great parking space.
14. get two important tasks done while at work with lunch at 12 noon.
15. biobreaks--no waiting.
16. go home at 4:30 p.m.
17. at home open mail, check computer, make dinner and eat...all before 7 p.m.
18. 7p-9p record music or audio produce, write, research (or every other day also take a shower)
19. 9p-11p watch a movie.
20. 11p-1130 pm prepare coffee, clean kitchen, clean off chair, brush teeth, floss, rinse, take pills.
21. Get into a made bed.
On Saturday morning:
1. return all bottles and cans.
2. buy needed groceries.
3. buy gas.
4. get supplies.
5. mail what is needed.
6. go to dump if needed.
7. get money from bank.
8. be home by 10 a.m. !
9. reserve time for vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, mopping floors.
Sunday morning:
1. reserve time for whatever vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes and mopping floors could not be done on Saturday.
So I can't do anything about the weather or my parking spot/biobreak luck. I *should* be able to create a better day each day by preparing the day before. If I can do this all week and the weather is good, I can have a better possibility for a perfect week!
