I won $10 from the Medford Mail Tribune for entering a contest by writing about the success of my free Summer youth classified advert. The writing was of my typical undisciplined style, the kind that even today I can enter when talking about my experiences. Sort of embarassing that I did this on June 12, 1973 but even worse that I see that style in my web page contents from 24 years later.

Wonder what I bought with the $10? I don't recall.
The original picture was very small and screened...and the paper was turning brown and had some stains when I scanned it today. I tried to smooth out the dots but couldn't get rid of them entirely without losing the sharpness.
Anyway, you get the idea of what I looked like when in McLoughlin Junior High School.
