Oh, let me see...
* Nice visit yesterday with my brother-in-law, Gene, who is acting in something being filmed in Portland. We ate at Christies on North Lombard.
* Ran two loads of dishes through the dishwasher this weekend.
* Finally finished my dusting job by the stairs, mainly so I could put away the paper towels and cleaning supplies which have sat at the stair corner for the past two months!
* Found a new place for my newspaper box so I can tie my shoes at bedside now.
* Wednesday got a $706 "car wash" for my truck...also they threw in an engine tune-up and fixed up the brakes (the right rear brake somehow self-destructed, so for the last several weeks it was making noise...a rotational squeak).
* Dentist appointment today, not last Monday. Last monday I skipped my walk to go to the appointment at 7:30 and got there on time, only to find out the appointment was today.
* Last Tuesday had a meeting at 8:30 and class at 9 so wanted to make sure I could do both from the campus...so skipped my walk to get out there on time. The class was good: how to prepare technical training courses.
* Last Thursday and Friday I worked from home for the big push for a release of "gm." It was not a big release, but I spent until 10 p.m. on Thursday working around a feature which "gm" uses but which is no longer available.
* Starting tomorrow, I hope to resume walking again.
* Sometime this week expect to get a Theda Bara movie poster for The Rose of Blood which is more than 90 years old. I bought it on Ebay. Next step: restoration. I found a Portland business to do just that!
