Bad weather non-event
* We got a light dusting of snow last night and that was it.
* Today, while cold, had partly sunny skies. I probably could have driven to work.
* That said, the driving would not have made me more productive. I had a late start working from home as it is. If I had to add commuting to that I wouldn't get home until 10 p.m. Apparently very few people came to work, so if there was some reason to meet with people today there wouldn't be anyone to meet!
* I had one task today and I did it well, creating modular code that will be easy to support and change. There was one expected roadblock which I should be able to resolve to-morrow...and the program structure will make it easy to resolve. I am on track to finishing this task, which I feel good about doing. I hope I can finish the task early (why, see later)
* Also tested an issue and documented some changes for a discussion next week.
* Received another package today: a laserdisc of the original aspect-ratio (widescreen) for The Shadow. I bought this because I discovered that there is no DVD of the widescreen version!
* The moderator of the LJ nopo community deleted a spam entry after I went to her non LJ blog and let her know it should be removed. She didn't take me up on my offer to take over as moderator, so I guess I will have to be the informer instead for future spam. At least now I don't have to remove myself from the community.
* The folks who left to live in Salem and had been selling their side of BadHouse apparently have returned. The For Sale sign was removed around September and we saw the moving van this week and one of the gals moving stuff back into the house.
* It is quite cold next to the windows right now. I guess we may go into the teens for a low temperature tonight.
* I hope I can quit to-morrow a little earlier (depends on how I do on the task at work) so as to brave the last-minute grocery shopping crowds to get Thanksgiving Day necessities. If I can do that, then I can also make Sweet Potato muffins tonight so they are ready to-morrow.
