Pizza, dishwasher, basement
For dinner last night we made pizza. I added veggie pepperoni to both. The two pizzas with the same brand name had different temperatures/times but we have one oven. I worked it out and both were baked properly.
We watched another episode of the dark material things, then an episode of West Wing.
I preserved three pieces of pizza for Marisa using plastic wrap, then started the dishwasher.
Went right to sleep and woke short of 6 a.m. Besides a dream, don't recall much disturbance between going to bed and waking up--a good night's rest. The dream was about me doing some research into an insular community which I was on course to finish a day early. In my dream and in real life I am trying to get things done early. If I don't make it I still have an extra day to wrap up. If I do make it, I get a day to do other things (or do nothing at all). Win Win.
I am really pleased at winning the Sonia Markova magic lantern slide. Turns out it connects directly to a Milton Sills movie made before the 1918 film. I had no idea: my research was done after I made the bid and then won the auction. I wouldn't have bid if MF hadn't recommended I get medicare reinbursement. All interconnected decisions and choices that led to yet another interesting chapter in my upcoming book!
This morning Marisa and I will drive to Vancouver so she can see a specialist regarding her on-again, off-again breast cancer scares. $35 for the visit.
The basement waits. I need to get down there and organize. Part of the work may include fixing of the Heywood Wakefield coffee table, as a fixed table can go back to the living room and be one less item in the basement.
I will also bring in the bins after they were emptied on garbage-garbage day, put back clean dishes, put in dirty dishes and wash plastics, utensils and pots by hand.
Tomorrow, Saturday: basement. Sunday: basement and also auction monitoring.
Monday: finish basement work, prepare for Goodwill visit.
Tuesday: load truck and then donate to Goodwill. Groceries.
Wednesday: sweet potato muffins.
Thursday: Thanksgiving.
Friday: Clean-up.
Saturday: stain test, Christmas cards.
Sunday: finish cards, clean, sand, clean bottom basement step.
