Received my new utilikilt with a 38 inch waist. Fits well. That is my new size. Darn it! I still give a "slim" appearance to some, but I am thicker. Maybe some aerobics (bicycling, calisthenics) will help.
Still keeping my face shaved. There are annoying stand-out whiskers, but try to keep it as smooth appearing.
My dermatology appointment is Friday in Hillsboro, so I guess I will work part of the day from my work office.
Next Wednesday is the Red Cross blood draw, so again at the work office next week on that day.
Getting a metal roof for the house appears to cause an increase in the premium. Oh well. We shall see: quote to come.
Put away dishes just manually washed. I hope to wash pots and pans and some ceramics tonight or tomorrow morning. Marisa was very pleased at how clean the counter was from my work. I hope to keep it that way now that I have a new focus in life.
Besides the utilikilt we got another 6 vacuum cleaner bags: I expect we will use the machine more often.
Looking forward to another Amazon shipment this week when I get some wide leg high waist slacks.
I can get a monthly bus pass for $30 at Freddies! Thinking of spending a lot of time riding to do photography, thrifting, and maybe a food break. I will be looking for frames I convert to inserts.
Today I received a glass slide and a box of 1940s cardboard framed broken glass slides. One is a well-broken slide (at least 3 pieces) for Bataan (1943) but the other nine: no clue. Very cheap per slide, but you get what you pay for!
Weather is nice, not hot yet. It may be hot by Thursday. Meanwhile I hear the Phoenix, Arizona has been at 100 degrees Fahrenheit (or more) for the last 100 days with no let up! Crazy. Not sure if Trump's 4 years as U.S. President has made things worse, but he certainly didn't help make things better. Certainly it would be a really bad situation if he returned to the White House. We have a good champion for policies to help bring us into a less-petrol based society with Kamala Harris.
Yesterday watched the final two episodes of Monk. Everything tied up neatly. There is also a new Monk movie, but both it and a new series we want to see is only on Peacock. We are thinking seriously of taking the free one-week trial and get all our watching done, then cancel it! However, I worry we won't cancel and thus add another burden to our monthly bills.
