More accomplished

At work yesterday slogged through 74 test failures which wound up to be one real problem, which I fixed, one test issue, which I fixed and the rest false or non-existant (I re-ran and there were no problems).

After work, finished a video to Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me With Science" using 20 second video clips I assembled for Marisa's Science act. She needed to submit the video by today. Once I converted the clips to the correct mp4 dimensions, it was fairly easy to put it together. The software ran out of memory after a while, so I ran Task Manager to remove other applications, shut down spreadsheets and then saved the project. Once I restarted I was able to complete it.

Two unfortunate issues--a pixelation problem rendering one part of the video and the "tinniness" of the music. I don't have any idea how to fix either of those issues.

Then, made macaroni and cheese with mushrooms and soy chorizo. We watched a new episode of Dr. Who with Jinx Monsoon as "The Maestro." Marisa liked the episode.

This morning I woke up from a dream where I had a 2nd floor apartment downtown in some city. It was December a couple of weeks before Christmas attending a gathering across the street where my landlord was present: played by Ben Mankowicz. He wanted my next months rent paid now and to FTS Securities. I had a nice conversation with a woman played by Linda Purl. She laid down on the sofa and I sat by her feet. The actor who played Lebeau on Hogan's Heroes, Robert Clary, was also there. Before he left the gathering, he approached me, we were both standing, and kissed me on the lips.

Somehow related to all of this was that Ben, Linda and Robert were to put on some sort of headset or helmut which allowed dead people to take over their bodies. This was something they had to do every year around Christmas. It was not something I had to do (or wanted to do), but I observed what happened as a result with people who did this.

Today at work I hope to write a new test to demonstrate that a script I rewrote is functionally correct, update a utility, and migrate yet another utility.

Afterwards, I will put on gloves and my work boots to seal up the "input" side of the silt tank. Thursday we will do another test. If there is something wrong then, I will fix...and keep on testing and fixing until I am confident. Meanwhile: add more gravel, unload the compost and start filling in where I can. The drainage project must progress so I can move on to soil amendments, fill and hardscaping.
