The big week

Still planning to take off April 20 through 28.
It is a gamble because it could be rained out.

However, last year Weather Underground says only 1 maybe 2 days had rain and the rest of the time it didn't rain...so good odds I will be able to complete the job.

This coming weekend: April 13-14 is another matter. It may rain both days!

So I will be looking for some decent weather Tuesday and Thursday when I work from home. I might get a couple hours each of those days to work on digging the trench.

There are other things to do that I must do...such as purchase landscape fabric and pipe fittings. So those little trips I might want to do when it is raining.

[ ] remove all gravel from east side short step (half cubic feet if that).
[ ] remove all gravel from remaining 2 feet of trench (6 cubic feet).
[ ] get all of trench down to 48 inches.
[ ] get trench down to 55 inches.
[ ] get trench down to 60 inches.
[ ] score bottom and mark 22 inch mark
[ ] dig out pipe trench to 22 inch height
[ ] add landscape fabric
[ ] fill with river rock to 22 inches
[ ] cover with landscape fabric
[ ] cut unnecessary pipe and remove.
[ ] fill in where unnecessary pipe existed, leaving only trench and path of pipes.
[ ] test system, caulk for leaks, dig out areas where slope is not downwards.
[ ] cut pipe and add fittings to add drainage/holey pipe with sock
[ ] get inspection.
[ ] after inspection add river rock up to level of pipe and cover again with landscape fabric
[ ] fill in all pipe trenches.
[ ] get compost
[ ] remove temporary approach
[ ] dig down a few inches
[ ] add landscape fabric
[ ] add gravel and any paver base
[ ] flatten
[ ] add mosaic of sidewalk concrete (half-finished, but served to use some gravel).
[ ] pour gravel in alley
[ ] pour gravel in pathway
[ ] pour gravel in House70 driveway
[ ] dig up back yard to remove plastic grid.
[ ] amend with compost
[ ] add scalloped border.
[ ] smooth out soil
[ ] prepare for grass/clover seed
[ ] buy grass/clover seed
[ ] broadcast grass clover seed.
