It is dry but cold today.
I needed a Torx T15 bit and driver and a 10 mm socket wrench to replace the driver's side mirror for the Ford Focus.
In 2012 I put in the mirror which now needs to be replaced. The housing broke although the mirror itself is fine.
Both the gray bits set and the black socket set are somewhere in this house, but I can't find them, so I went to Freddies to buy what I needed. $26 later I had the tools and replaced the mirror.
The Torx T15 screw fell into door but wasn't functional anyway (no washer on the car door between the head of the screw and the plastic piece on the mirror). The large bolt, however, was fine and was removed and put back on the new mirror just fine.
Paid bills. Centuryslinky was not paid last month. This is likely to happen now and then because they no longer send paper bills. So I ended up $20 or so poorer as a result.
I will take a shower and then work on cleaning the kitchen. I would like to dig but it is just cold enough I don't want to do that. The warmest it got today was 47 degrees at 1 p.m. There is no dry day above 50 degrees for the next 10 days!
The emovieposters.com auction ended well. All of the glass slides I bid on as well as the two stills from "At the End of the World" came in under my usual cost. I also picked up some additional stills for actresses in other Milton Sills movies.
Yesterday I turned in a submission for a Facebook group about movies that exist but you can't see. The BFI has 4 of the 5 reels for Satan Junior with Viola Dana, so I did a little thing about that movie. The post is pending administrator approval.
Cancelled my blood donation scheduled for Wednesday (redcross.org). I scheduled a new one at Jones Farm in Hillsboro in late January on Jan 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM--this is a Power Red donation.
