Launching into the middle of November
Yesterday I was stressed all day and the left side of my chest felt strained. Today I am much more relaxed after sleeping late.
Our garbage was picked up, although not a full can. I was too late to put out compost or recycling (and they were early).
We have a confirmed appointment for next Wednesday at 2 p.m. so that Poeste can have his questions answered by a Neil Kelly carpenter.
Tuesday-Thursday I may have some good weather to work on the drainage system. It might be a good time to be absent and take those as vacation days.
Yesterday we got the replacement radio. Pretty low tech. Tuner is manual. The worst part: the usb player does not have shuffle play. It will do until I get more money, then will consider the unit which doesn't have an AM radio if it has all the other features I want.
Today I received power outlet plates needed, including the 220 V.A.C. I am so looking forward to finishing work and seeing our light fixtures, light switches and outlet/switch plates go up.
Don't know what will happen with the three registers to cover the vents. Those can go up after the flooring goes in. I expect some cheap-o plastic things. Like the exterior heating vents I will find better replacements and install those when it makes the most sense (balancing my budget with my tolerance for crap).
Monday flooring should begin. Once flooring if finished the only subcontract work is for the final electrical. Between flooring and electrical is NK carpentry.
Budget is tight. It comes from paying for the $700 electrical work from the regular budget, I think. No city bills yet, no revised invoices or requests for payment for the backroom project. It will probably come as an avalanche of bills, so I hope to be prepared for that

Nov. 10-Nov. 12: buy something to seal pipes, reorganize stuff for backroom, clean kitchen, clean bathrooms, vacuum.
