Self disappointment
This past weekend I did very little toward advancing the backroom project.
Yesterday I did scrape together enough clay to mask the hole by the south inside corner. That is it.
Other things I did do on Sunday:
x reversed downspout diverter so it is correct (should reduce flooding).
x with Marisa changed the sheets on the bed.
x put away clean dishes and flatware.
x rinsed another pile of dishes and put in the dishwasher.
x put all dead batteries in the battery box.
x put all nails, wirenuts, screws in a coffee can.
x put out returnables (2).
This week I will go to work at least two days a week, starting with today.
During this week:
- measure for baseboards
- buy plaster and insulation
- necessary tools to drill for phone lines.
Next weekend:
-slope and tamp south inside corner with clay from the back yard.
-add clamps to window well and remove protective cardboard and plastic
-move boards to piles:
--boards under house wrap first.
--clean house wrap, roll up and stow.
--boards by rain barrels.
--siding by red apple tree.
-fill area by south outside corner.
-add solid insulation under insulation batts.
-clean up interior.
-put back strap for upper vent pipe.
- Add lath for dining room
- Patch electrical hole in dining room
- Remove sandwiched dead electrical cable
- move stuff by potential door in cellar
- Plaster lath
- Drill and install phone cord
