Been a while

Well, this year has been a year of mixed blessings.

Adjusting to Del Rey is getting a little bit easier, but recently I have made a choice to help that. I will see where this new choice will lead me, but nothing too serious for those around me.

I have been at the IRS 2 seasons now and my 3rd is around the corner, but it's only a few months of work, and I have not regretted working there. Over the summer, fall and now winter has given me a chance to continue with my night school and spending time with Elizabeth. For now, student and stay at home dad suites me, but things will get better.

Elizabeth, brings something to my life that words can never describe and I will do my best to raise her right and make sure she can lead a life of happiness and love. Seeing what fathers do to their children by simply not paying enough attention or abandoning them has a profound effect on everyone and this has proven to me that my role as a father is the most important role I have in life.

As to own my father, I feel more positive than negative, more love than sadness, more pride and regret. He got to known his grad-daughters and showed them love and compassion that he was renown for. This past few weeks has been extremely draining on all levels and in the end, it is still hard to known that he is gone from everyone. I was extremely touched by everyone who reached out in their own way and I thank everyone and request that you hug your best friend the next time you see them.

I want to see smiles now, sadness has past and I am glad I am a part (even if it is in electronic form) of what is here. So, the next time I see you, please do not let sadness darken your face, but smile because we are here together as friends and share a laugh that brightens the day.
